East German M48 field jacket featuring the signature strichtarn rain-pattern camouflage. Built with a rugged poly-cotton fabric, with two front pockets and two sleeve pockets making and ideal jacket for rough outdoor usage. Adopted by the NVA in 1965 this camo was originally developed to separate East German troops apart from their Soviet counterpart, thus creating an iconic camo pattern which even saw use in Africa during the Rhodesian Bush War.
